2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Engine
In the engine compartment, the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe has something to brag about. The South Korean model comes with two improved engines.
The Lambda V6 GDI unit now develops 350 hp (261 Kw / 355 PS) and 264 Nm (195 lb/ft), while the entry-level model is a Theta 2.0 Turbo that provides 275 hp (205 Kw / 279 PS) and 373 Nm (275 lb/ft).
Another novelty in the range of 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is the transmission. While the model is offered with a standard six-speed manual transmission, the Hyundai also provides now an eight-speed automatic transmission for both engine versions.
The eight-speed automatic transmission is more efficient than the manual unit and the driver can change gears manually with the paddles from the steering wheel. The list of changes includes an improved steering system and a recalibrated suspension.

In the interior, Hyundai Genesis Coupe gets new materials and a set of dashboard gauges. The Turbo version enjoys a watch for measuring the pressure provided by the turbocharger (or the torque supplied – for the V6 version), and a clock for measuring the oil temperature.
