Porsche Panamera Turbo is Car of the Year 2009 by Playboy

Porsche Panamera Turbo 2009 car was chosen by Playboy men’s publication. Magazine does not take into account performance models entered into the contest, the tie is made of sex appeal.

Although controversial, the new Porsche Panamera still manages to gather an important prize in May. This time it is not a car but the famous magazine Playboy, which has given distinction to “Car of the Year 2009″ – sport sedan.

Second prize is that it gets Porsche in four years, managed to conquer Cayman same award in 2006. Award given by publication for men is only valid for the German model turbo version but considering the car’s performance but the model’s sex appeal.

The same criterion was used for all other categories considered by the U.S. magazine: Convertible car of the year – Ferrari California, diesel car of the year – the Audi A3, sport sedan of the year – Mercedes E63 AMG, coupe of the year – Nissan 370 Z, and the most versatile car of the Year – BMW 5 Series GT.

Playboy offered prize each year has been captured in 2007 by BMW Z4 M and in 2008 by Audi R8.
