TVR announces its official relaunch with the help of Cosworth and Gordon Murray, the creator of McLaren F1

TVR announced a partnership with Gord Murray Design and Cosworth for its relaunch. The British will show their first model in 2017.

One of the most beloved British brands in its glory and a true purists dedicated manufacturer, TVR is about to return. After several unsuccessful attempts, the British promise to re-enter the market, this time with the help of big names in the field.In an official statement, TVR announced that in order to develop new models will appeal to traditional names in the British automotive industry. The exterior design studio will handle Gordon Murray, the man who stood behind the famous McLaren F1 and the city launched a revolutionary vehicle, electric, bearing his name.

Murray will also lend the iStream production system that will help create a composite body.The list of renowned partners and Cosworth is passed that will handle the propellant. Although there is no information in this regard, TVR claims that it will remove the old philosophy of the brand, which involves using a V8, normally aspirated, which sends power to the rear axle only.

TVR promises that the first model is close enough spot, launch is scheduled in 2017. It will be followed by three other products in the next 10 years.

For starters, the first TVR models will be 100% right-hand drive and will address the public in the UK. However, the architecture was designed to provide an alternative to driving on the left, which means export plans both in Europe and across the Atlantic to North America.
