The German car manufacturer announced the introduction of a new engine range for the Opel Cascada convertible. Opel Cascada will use a 2.0-liter diesel engine capable of developing 170 horsepower.
To increase interest in the current Cascada, Opel announces the introduction of a new engine variants for its convertible. It is a 2.0-liter CDTi powerplant, recently introduced on the Insignia and Zafira Tourer.
The four-cylinder unit develops 170 horsepower can also boast a torque of 400 Nm. Compared with the unit it replaces (165 horsepower), the new CDTI engine provides 3% more power and 14% more torque.
In the official press release announcing the launch of the new version, Opel introduced fresh claims that the engine complies with the Euro 6 emission standards and can guarantee an average consumption of just 4.9 liters / 100 kilometers, when assisted by a manual transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.3 seconds and top speed reaches 218 km / h.
Opel announced new prices for diesel on the German market. It will start from 30,500 euros.
