Mitsubishi will present at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show a concept that will predict future look crossovers. The exhibit is called Mitsubishi eX Concept and is a 100% electric model with four-wheel drive.
Mitsubishi Electric EX Concept is a crossover equipped with all-wheel drive. The model will be exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show and will inspire the design of future Japanese brand’s crossovers. EX shows an angular design concept, which Mitsubishi representatives said they will be a key component of the company’s future design language. Among the items that will be taken include new front grille, called Dynamic Shield, along thin optical blocks, divided into two, employing grid.
The concept prepared by Mitsubishi Tokyo Motor Show presents the reverse opening rear doors and handles hidden. The ceiling is plunged back and C-pillars are transparent. As with most concepts, Mitsubishi EX is equipped with a set of generously sized alloy wheels which will not go into series production in this form. LED taillights Posteirorul shows a design similar to the front headlights. The boot lid imitate the shape of the front grille using black paint, which contrasts with the bright yellow of the body.
Regarding the 100% electric powertrain of this concept, the Mitsubishi stated that they used the next generation of electric motors prepared by their engineers. Wheel drive system is operated permanently and the car show and autonomous driving technologies. The Japanese were sparing in details about these systems. Along with their new concept, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will present model, a replica version of Outlander PHEV‘s Baja 500, i-MiEV and Pajero models, along with several exclusive products for the Japanese market.
